Michelle Wu for Mayor Campaign Collects More Than 5,000 Signatures in 3 Days

Boston, MA – City Councilor and candidate for Mayor Michelle Wu announced that her grassroots team of volunteers has collected more than 5,000 signatures, continuing to demonstrate significant citywide support and organizing strength. On Tuesday night, the campaign announced that Wu volunteers had collected 3,000 signatures in just the first 12 hours of signature collection.
Candidates for Mayor are required to collect a minimum of 3,000 signatures to appear on the ballot and must submit signatures by May 18.
More than 150 volunteers have been out this week safely gathering signatures while talking about Wu’s vision for Boston. Collecting more than the necessary threshold of signatures in just a single day and more than 5,000 signatures in three days is yet another example of Wu’s grassroots organizing strength and the dedication and enthusiasm of her supporters.
