Thanks to your support and hard work, yesterday a record 64,978 residents across the city voted to affirm the vision of our community that I fight for: Boston should be an affordable, inclusive home for everyone, and a leading city in a time of uncertainty. I’m honored and energized to continue my work on the City Council alongside new and returning colleagues, who will make up the most diverse group in the city’s history!
Thank you especially to the thousands of supporters who joined me in collecting signatures, holding signs, knocking on doors, attending events, making a contribution, or amplifying our message on email and social media.
Campaigns can be grueling and intense, but I treasure every minute. There’s nothing like being invited into someone’s living room to see pictures of the grandkids and hear about the family’s deepest worries and highest hopes. Each conversation gives urgency to our work on the Council and throughout the city.
I am deeply grateful for your partnership and can’t wait to continue our work together.
Thanks for all that you do.
